I resell hosting and domains alongside client work, and for years the whole thing ran on memory: renewals I invoiced by hand, domains I hoped I'd noticed in time, cPanel passwords living in old email threads. So I built a module to put all of it inside Perfex, and I've been running my own book on it for months.
Hosting & Domain Manager does three things the existing domain trackers don't:
It bills. Real Perfex invoices generated ahead of each due date, draft-first by default, consolidated per customer. Payment advances the next due date on its own. Configurable reminder ladders for upcoming, overdue and domain expiry.
It knows the real expiry date. WHOIS/RDAP pulled from the registry, plus SSL expiry, DNS change detection and uptime (polling or webhook from Uptime Kuma).
It holds the credentials. cPanel/Plesk/SSH/FTP/DB/API logins encrypted with AES-256-GCM, key stored outside the web root, reveals gated by HTTPS plus a separate permission, rate-limited, and every reveal and refusal written to an access log.
There's also a client-portal tab (read-only — renew/change/cancel become tickets you control) and a margin-per-server report, which honestly is the screen I use most.

No licence key, no activation server, no telemetry — it never contacts me. For something holding your clients' SSH keys that felt like the only defensible choice.
